SE5 maisonette, engineered oak throughout, sanded back and re-oiled after eight years of wear. The living area and main bedroom were showing clear wear tracks in the finish, which is normal for engineered floors after several years of daily use. The wear layer was sufficient for a resand — confirmed on survey.
We sanded the floor in the morning, applied the oil after a thorough clean, and left it to cure. The client was back in the property the same evening.
Camberwell (SE5) sits between Peckham, Brixton, and Kennington, and has a large amount of Victorian and Edwardian housing stock — most of it now converted into flats. Engineered and hardwood floors are common in the converted maisonettes and ground-floor flats across the postcode, and we carry out resanding jobs in SE5 regularly throughout the year.
South London Floor Sanding covers the full arc of SE postcodes from SE1 through to SE27. Camberwell, along with neighbouring SE15 (Peckham), SE24 (Herne Hill) and SE11 (Kennington), forms one of our busiest areas. If your engineered or hardwood floor is looking tired, get in touch — most resanding jobs can be arranged within two to three weeks.
Free quotes, no obligation, our own team throughout.
